President's Commission on Care for America's Returning Wounded Warriors Receives Yellow Ribbon Fund Testimony

Kathi Wallis, the Executive Director of the Yellow Ribbon Fund, testified on Monday, June 18, 2007, at the sixth public session of the President's Commission on Care for America's Returning Wounded Warriors. The President's Commission is chaired by former Senator Bob Dole and President of the University of Miami Dr. Donna Shalala and includes a long-time friend of the Yellow Ribbon Fund, HM3 Jose Ramos (see the Yellow Ribbon Update Spring 2007). Kathi and two other executives from community-based organizations presented testimony on how such organizations help the returning wounded warriors and their families.
