Friends of Alexandria has raised over $300,000 to support the Yellow Ribbon Fund’s mission of providing vital services to our nation’s military families. Your participation directly enables the Yellow Ribbon Fund to provide essential services like hotels, apartments, transportation, and so much more.
This year, we are honored to welcome Sergeant Major Kevin Bittenbender as our honorary speaker.
Honorary Speaker: Sgt Maj Bittenbender
Sergeant Major Bittenbender shares his personal journey that led him to coach the U.S. Paralympic Nordic/Biathlon team and co-found Joint Task Force 22 to Zero, a program that assists veterans and first responders with PTSD, TBI, and suicide prevention.
He has bravely served in over 200 combat missions. As a 34-year Army veteran, Sergeant Major Bittenbender has been awarded multiple Bronze Star Medals, the Meritorious Service Medal, and various campaign medals.
Under his leadership, he continues to inspire countless soldiers.
