Uncle Vito’s Christmas Parties Bring Holiday Cheer to Patients

YRF Hosts 15^th Annual “Uncle Vito’s Holiday Party” for Patients at Walter Reed

We are thrilled to share that this year was “Uncle Vito’s” 15^th annual holiday parties, and the best ones to date!  On Tuesday, December 4^th, Vito hosted a holiday party to patients receiving care on the mental health ward).  YRF gifted the ward an Xbox and a Karaoke Machine for patients to enjoy thanks to our friends at 540.co.  On Wednesday, December 5^th, wounded warriors and their families recovering at Walter Reed got to kick off the holiday season Italian style!  Families were treated to authentic Italian food brought down from New York and children got a surprise visit from Santa.  Vito, his friends, and Board members Bill Scott and Tim Sullivan all lent a helping hand serving food and handing out gift bags to all the patients and their families.

We want to give Vito Pampalona a special thank you for his passion and amazing efforts in bringing holiday spirit to the families for the fifteenth straight year! The smiles and joy we all saw on their faces were priceless and we were all grateful to be a part of that happiness.
