Yellow Ribbon Fund Christmas Parties Bring Holiday Cheer to Patients

YRF Hosts 15^th Annual Christmas Party for Patients at Walter Reed

We are thrilled to share that this year was our 15^th annual Christmas holiday party and the best one to date!  On Tuesday, December 4^th, Yellow Ribbon Fund hosted a holiday party for patients receiving care at Walter Reed. YRF gifted the ward an Xbox and a Karaoke Machine for patients to enjoy, thanks to our friends at 540. co.  On Wednesday, December 5^th, wounded warriors and their families recovering at Walter Reed started the holiday season Italian style!  Families were treated to authentic Italian food brought down from New York, and children got a surprise visit from Santa.  Board members Bill Scott and Tim Sullivan all lent a helping hand, serving food and handing out gift bags to all the patients and their families.

A special thank you to our board for their amazing efforts in bringing holiday spirit to the families for the fifteenth straight year! The smiles and joy we all saw on their faces were priceless, and we were all grateful to be a part of that happiness.
